Values

We interviewed a senior student who told us about her experience applying values here in the school.

1. Which values do you see reflected in the classrooms?

In our classroom I feel that above responsibility in our classes and respect for our teachers, values that prevail and I can see each day are those of friendship and solidarity. School represents most of our formative years, and we spent more time with our classmates than with our own families, so I’m glad that I can recognize these values in myself and others as a class and more importantly as a generation, that is Zykions 2015.  â€“ Arinda Palacios

2. Which of the values learned in school do you apply every day in your life?

One of the values I apply the most in my daily life and I can say for sure that school taught me is responsibility. It’s a skill that takes time to develop and it’s far too useful to put aside; so I’m thankful for it.

3. What is the most important value you learned in school?

I think the most important value we learned in school is determination. We are pushed into a completely different world and school itself acts like a trial run for life. We will not be successful if we don’t learn to fight for what we want and it determines for ourselves what we wish to be once we are out of school. So, determination is, in my point of view, the most important value school teaches us. – Arinda Palacios
